Abbott Expands Recall Of Baby Formula To Include More Products
By: KDKA-TV News Staff
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A new expansion of a recall is impacting more parents.
Abbott Nutrition now says more lots of Similac powdered instant formula aren't safe.
The FDA is looking into formulas that were made at a facility in Michigan that could have dangerous bacteria.
Parents should avoid using formula if the first two digits on the packaging are between 22 and 37 -- and if the expiration date is April 2022 or later.
If your child had any of the impacted products and is experiencing poor feeding, irritability, fever, grunting breaths, lethargy or blood in the urine or stool, reach out to their physician.
