6 Families Displaced After Apartment Building Collapses

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Six families had to leave their homes after an apartment building partially collapsed overnight in the city's Perry South neighborhood.

Officials say a six-unit building off of Kennedy Avenue in Perrysville collapsed.

Six families lived in the building.

The Red Cross says it is assisting five of the six families, including five adults and 10 children.

It's unclear what caused the building to collapse.
