5 injured after fire in Windgap
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Five people were injured after a house fire in Windgap on Tuesday.
Crews were called to the home on Oberton Street around 5 p.m. Pittsburgh fire officials said an elderly woman was rescued from the home and taken to a local hospital in stable condition. Two other people from the home were also taken to the hospital in stable condition, officials said.
Two police officers were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation as a precaution.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time. Officials are investigating.
