4 people taken to the hospital after truck crashes over hillside in Fawn Township
FAWN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Four children were taken to the hospital after a pickup truck crashed over a hillside and slammed into a tree in Allegheny County.
The crash occurred along Rt. 908 in Fawn Township just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
First responders at the scene tell KDKA that six people, including two men and four children, were inside the a 2001 Chevy Silverado pickup truck at the time of the crash.
The driver of the truck was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The children were taken to area hospitals to be checked out. None of their injuries are life-threatening, police said.
Allegheny County police investigators were called to the scene for assistance. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
