Pittsburgh police arrest man in connection to Allentown neighborhood homicide

3 men injured after shooting in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh police made an arrest in a triple shooting that left one man dead.

Quincey Gurske, 20, was taken into custody Monday morning when he arrived in court to face separate charges, police said. Gurske is facing charges of criminal homicide, criminal attempt homicide, and aggravated assault, among others. 

According to Pittsburgh police, one male is dead and two others were injured, after a shooting in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood on Sunday, March 3. 

Responding officers found one victim who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, according to an update from Pittsburgh Public Safety on Monday morning.  

Pittsburgh police were alerted to a 10-round ShotSpotter notification around 7 p.m. on March 3, along the 700 block of East Warrington Avenue.

The second male victim was located at Dilworth Street with gunshot wounds to the hip and the nose, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The third victim was dropped out of a vehicle at Arlington and William with a gunshot wound to the arm, police added. He was hospitalized in stable condition.

The ages of the victims are not known at this time.
