3 killed in Armstrong County crash
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Armstrong County.
Clarion County Public Safety told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the crash happened around 5 p.m. yesterday, near North Riverview Drive and Bennertown Road in Parker.
Following an investigation, more information has been released regarding the drivers, passengers, and nature of the accident.
Ronald Stockdill, 50, of Sligo, PA was driving one of the vehicles. He is suspected to have serious injuries, according to a newly-published police report. Stockdill lost control of his vehicle while heading southbound, crossing the center line, and entering the northbound lane.
The two vehicles crashed head-on, the report added.
Holly Tweed, 37, of Butler, PA, was driving the other vehicle involved in the crash. Passengers Lindsay Scott, a 24-year-old Bruin, PA native, and Jason Redenbach, 39, of Butler, also were in the car with Tweed.
Stockdill was transported to UPMC Presbyterian. Tweed, Scott, and Redenbach were killed in the crash.
