3 dead after multi-vehicle crash in Fayette County

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) - Three people are dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Springfield Township, Fayette County on Sunday.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, a two-vehicle crash was reported just before 6 p.m. on Route 711 near Mount Tabor Road.

Officials at the scene said two sedan-type vehicles were involved in the crash, with one vehicle coming to rest on its side.

Police identified the three people killed on Monday as 38-year-old Raymond Ramage of Connellsville, 28-year-old Peter Zepf of Pittsburgh and 25-year-old Katelin Lorch. 

According to police, Ramage was driving eastbound on Springfield Pike when his vehicle hit the second car that was traveling westbound, driven by Zepf. Lorch was a passenger in Zepf's car, police said. 

State police are investigating the crash.
