The Penguins announced they singed John Marino to a two-year, entry-level deal.

His deal runs through the 2020-21 campaign.

The Penguins have acquired defenseman John Marino from the Edmonton Oilers for a conditional 2021 sixth-round draft pick.

July 22nd 12:00 p.m.

"The Penguins have re-signed forward Zach Aston-Reese to a two-year contract. The one-way contract runs through the 2020.21 campaign and carries an average annual value of $1 million."

The Penguins have re-signed restricted free agent forward Teddy Blueger to a two-year deal.

The Penguins have re-signed Adam Johnson to a one-year deal.

The Penguins have re-signed forward Joseph Blandisi to a one year deal.

Pittsburgh added two additional free agents Monday afternoon including former Penguin David Warsofsky.

The Penguins have signed free agent forward Brandon Tanev. The 27-year-old was a member of the Winnipeg Jets last season.

"The Pittsburgh Penguins have agreed to terms with forward Brandon Tanev on a six-year contract. The deal will run through the 2024.25 campaign and carries an average annual value of $3.5 million."

In 80 games with Winnipeg last season, Tanev scored 14 goals with 15 assists for 29 points.

The Penguins have traded forward Phil Kessel, a prospect and a draft pick for Arizona Coyotes forward Alex Galchenyuk and defenseman Pierre-Olivier Joseph.
