2 Arrested In Connection With Wilmerding Fatal Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Two men have been arrested in connection with a fatal Wilmerding shooting.

Isaiah Coleman, 19, of Wilmerding, was shot and killed in the 600-block of Airbrake Avenue Wednesday night.

During their investigation, police were given the names of two people seen fleeing the scene.

According to the criminal complaint, Chaz White  and De'Shawn Hollinger, both 19, were at the home with two young women. Both of the men had concealed firearms.

The group was sitting out on the front porch when Coleman arrived.

The complaint says they were all initially joking and laughing. However, an argument began between White and Coleman, which resulted in White firing a single shot.

Coleman was struck in the chest and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

White and Hollinger fled the scene on foot and met up on a hill near Middle Avenue. At that time, White demanded that Hollinger hand him his gun and he complied.

White hid the two guns behind a residence, got in a vehicle and drove away.

Later, Hollinger led police to where the guns were hidden.

Both White and Hollinger were arrested Thursday night and are each facing charges related to weapons violations and tampering with evidence.

White has also been charged with criminal homicide.
