16 Dogs Seized From Home In Beaver Falls

BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) -- Police and humane officers seized 16 dogs living in deplorable conditions without food or water in Beaver Falls.

Humane society officials say the dogs were abandoned after their homeowner went to the hospital and refused to surrender the animals.

One of the dogs had surgery to remove a collar embedded in its neck.

Another dog needed surgery to remove long toenails.

The dogs will soon be put up for adoption.
