$153-Million Lotto Ticket Sold In Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - The Pennsylvania Lottery says a Mega Millions ticket worth as much as $153 million was sold in Pennsylvania.

Lottery officials said Wednesday that the ticket would be the fourth-largest cash prize in Pennsylvania Lottery history if the winner accepts the $91.7 million cash value of the ticket.

The annuity value is $153 million.

Lotto officials say the ticket was sold in Northumberland County.

It's the largest Mega Millions ticket prize ever won in Pennsylvania, since the state joined Mega Millions in 2010, and just the second jackpot-winning ticket sold in the state. The lottery is required to subtract 25 percent in federal withholding taxes from the cash prize.

A lottery spokesman says the ticket was sold at the Penn 80/Flying J Travel Plaza in Milton. As of Wednesday afternoon, nobody had produced the winning ticket.
