1-Year-Old Dies After Falling Into Mercer County Pond
SPRINGFIELD TWP. (KDKA) -- A baby died in a tragic incident on Sunday in Mercer County.
State police say it happened around 8:30 a.m. at a residence on New Castle Mercer Road in Springfield Township.
A 1-year-old boy was found to have fallen into a small pond in the yard.
Attempts to revive the child were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead.
No further information was released.
