1 Person Killed In Greene Co. Crash
MONONGAHELA TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One person is dead after a crash in Greene County.
The accident happened just before 10 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Route 88 and Greensboro Road in Monongahela Township.
Police say a 53-year-old woman from Greensboro was driving southbound on Route 88 in an SUV when she lost control, crossed into the northbound lane and hit a guide rail.
The SUV went over the guide rail, hit several trees and rolled over, landing on the roof.
Police say the woman was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
She died at the scene.
