Pittsburgh Steelers release 2022 schedule
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The 2022 NFL season is quickly approaching.
The full league schedule with kickoff times and dates was released Thursday, and Steelers fans are already ready for each matchup.

Steelers Schedule Release Show
The black and gold's schedule is out, and KDKA-TV will break it all down tonight at 11 p.m. on Pittsburgh's CW.
Schedule notes
- The Steelers play the Seahawks, Jaguars and Lions in the preseason in August.
- The team plays three games in the first 11 days of the season.
- The Steelers host Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on Oct. 16.
- Pittsburgh has a Week 9 bye.
- The Steelers have five prime time games, including a home game against the Raiders on Christmas Eve.
- Pittsburgh closes the season with two divisional games: Week 17 at Baltimore and Week 18 at home against the Browns.
Full schedule
The Steelers' schedule has been released.
Week 1
The Steelers will open the season on Sept. 11 at the Bengals.
Week 2
Before the big announcement at 8 p.m., the Steelers announced that their home-opening game is on Sept. 18 against the Patriots.
It will be the eighth consecutive year that Pittsburgh opens the season on the road.

Release the schedule already
The Steelers tried to get the NFL to release the schedules early. It did not work.
2022 opponents
The Steelers already know which teams they will be playing this season.
As always, Pittsburgh will play home-and-home series against Baltimore, Cincinnati and Cleveland.
Other than the AFC North rivalries, the Steelers will play the following teams at Heinz Field: New England, New Orleans, New York Jets, Tampa Bay and Las Vegas.
The Steelers will travel for games at Atlanta, Buffalo, Carolina, Indianapolis, Miami and Philadelphia.
