Penguins sign forward Archibald to 1-year contract
The Penguins signed forward Josh Archibald to a one-year contract worth $900,000.
The 2017 Stanley Cup winner was drafted by the Penguins in 2011. He's spent the last three seasons with the Edmonton Oilers.

Defenseman Rutta signs 3-year, $8.25M contract
The Penguins signed defenseman Jan Rutta to a three-year contract worth $8.25 million.
Rutta, a back-to-back Stanley Cup champion with Tampa Bay, will be with the Penguins through the 2024-25 season on a deal that has an average annual value of $2.75 million.

Defenseman Ouellet gets 2-year deal
The Penguins signed defenseman Xavier Ouellet to a two-year, two-way contract with the average annual value of $762,500 at the NHL level.
Ouellet, 28, has spent the last four seasons in the Montreal Canadiens organization, captaining the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League since 2018.

Penguins sign goalie Tokarski to 1-year contract
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Penguins signed goalie Dustin Tokarski to a one-year contract.
The one-way deal runs through the 2022-23 season and has an average annual value of $755,000, general manager Ron Hextall announced Wednesday.
The 32-year-old was with the Buffalo Sabres last season, appearing in 29 games, going 10-12-5 with a 3.27 goals-against average and one shutout. He's also played with a slew of AHL teams, including the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Malkin re-signs with Pens, inks 4-year deal

Malkin had reportedly been prepared to test the free agent market after not coming to terms with the team, but the two sides came to an agreement just 12 hours before free agency was set to begin.

Rickard Rakell will be back in the fold for Pittsburgh for six more seasons.
