Sports Illustrated's newest cover girls
First, Team USA captured the country's attention with their incredible 2015 World Cup performance. Then, they captured a spot in the history books by beating Japan 5-2 in the finals and becoming the first women's team to win three World Cup titles. Now, they've captured the Sports Illustrated cover as well.
In July 2015, the magazine honored each of the 23 players on the U.S. women's national soccer team (and coach Jill Ellis) by giving them all customized covers.
