Spain's scariest hiking trail reopens
Spain's 110-year-old El Caminito del Ray, also known as King's Little Pathway, one of the world's most dangerous hiking trails, has reopened after being closed for over ten years.
The trail, originally built to provide workers at the hydroelectric plants at Chorro Falls and Caitanejo Falls with a pathway, runs along the steep walls of the Gaitanes Gorge in El Chorro near Málaga, Spain.

The original pathway was made of concrete and steel rails. Over the years it deteriorated quite a bit with large holes developing and very few of the handrails remaining.
The three-kilometre (1.8 mile) long pathway, which was built at about 100 metres (330 ft) above the gorge of Los Gaitanes between the years of 1901 and 1905, was closed in 2001 after five people died.
