Secret menu items from fast food restaurants
For some fast food patrons, the regular menu at their favorite restaurant can get a little boring. Enter the secret menu -- often over-the-top variations that have to be seen to be believed.
This off-menu item from Arby's is layered from the bottom up with chicken tenders, roast turkey, ham and swiss cheese. But the fixin's don't stop there. Stacked on top of that is brisket, corned beef, Angus steak and cheddar cheese. Crispy bacon completes the sandwich.
Here's Twitter user @Chris_Guy1's picture of this massive sandwich.
Chipotle: Quesarito
One of the most popular off-menu items from Chipotle is its Quesarito.
This behemoth, photographed by CoupleInTheKitchen, is a mash-up of a quesadilla and a burrito, where the former serves as the latter's shell.
As of 2015, Chipotle charges an extra $3.50 for this secret-menu upgrade.
McDonald's: Land, Sea and Air Burger
The biggest burger on the list combines three of McDonald's most-popular sandwiches into one beast of a meal. The Land, Sea and Air Burger consists of a Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish and a McChicken. And if consumers are feeling even more gluttonous, some like to add fries.
Twitter-er @DJPhilGrainger recently shared a photo.
Wendy's: Meat Cube (or Grand Slam Burger)
Wendy's is known for their square-shaped burgers, but this is off-menu meal takes it to towering levels. The Meat Cube, or Grand Slam Burger, is a secret-menu item that adds even more beef patties to Wendy's 3/4 pound burger.

In-N-Out: Animal Style Burger
Unless West Coasters have been living under a rock, they know all about In-N-Out's "Not-So-Secret" menu. But for the uninitiated, there's the Animal Style Burger.
Along with the usual toppings, Animal Style adds pickles, even more secret spread, and grilled onions, while the patties are grilled with mustard on them to give the burger an extra kick.

Chipotle: Burritodilla
Chipotle's Burritodilla is another combination of a burrito and quesadilla, but it's not so massive as the restaurant's Quesarito.
The off-menu meal takes another secret-menu item (quesadilla) and adds about half the ingredients from a burrito to create this hybrid.
Twitter user @Jcolton31 shared a picture of the secret-menu item prior to devouring it.
Starbucks: Dirty Chai Latte
Sure, Starbucks fans can ask for an extra shot of espresso, and that's not exactly a secret. But the fact that this fix has a name? That baristas recognize? That elevates this to a secret-menu item.
McDonald's: McDouble + McChicken
Although this McDonald's off-menu burger has a name we can't repeat, we can tell you this hybrid sandwich brings together a McDouble and a McChicken.

Not many Taco Bell consumers know that they can add guacamole to pretty much any burrito on the menu.

This Jamba Juice drink isn't a typical smoothie. The "Butterfinger" smoothie is more of a dessert than a healthy alternative.
The secret-menu "Butterfinger" smoothie includes carrot juice, frozen yogurt, chocolate and peanut butter.
Five Guys: Patty Melt
Here's a unique take on a Five Guys' grilled cheese sandwich. Twitter-er @HaniRaspaghettiadded a beef patty to the sandwich and-voila-he's got himself a secret-menu Patty Melt.
