This photo is one in a series captured by photographer Tim Telford as a pilot and a skydiver collided at South Lakeland Airport in Florida on Saturday, March 10, 2014. Both survived with minor injuries.
The skydiver, John S. Frost, was coming in for a landing, and the pilot, Sharon Trembley, was practicing takeoff and landing maneuvers when the incident occurred. They struck each other about 75 feet off the ground.

Coincidentally, the incident occurred on the U.S. Parachute Association's skydiving Safety Day.
