Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin
This interior view of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module shows Astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr., lunar module pilot, during the lunar landing mission. This picture was taken by Astronaut Neil A. Armstrong, commander, prior to the moon landing.
Alan Bean
Astronaut Alan L. Bean, lunar module pilot for the Apollo 12 lunar landing mission, holds a Special Environmental Sample Container filled with lunar soil collected during the extravehicular activity (EVA) in which Astronauts Charles "Pete" Conrad Jr., commander, and Bean participated. Conrad, who took this picture, is reflected in the helmet visor of the lunar module pilot.

Edgar Mitchell and Alan Shepard
Astronauts Alan B. Shepard Jr., right, commander, and Edgar D. Mitchell, lunar module pilot, are suited up for a manned altitude run in the Apollo 14 Lunar Module, September 18, 1970. Shepard was only one of the original seven astronauts to walk on the moon. Apollo 14 explored the moon's rugged Fra Maura highlands region in February 1971. Astronaut Stuart A. Roosa, command module pilot, remained with the Apollo 14 Command and Service Modules in lunar orbit while the other two astronauts explored the moon.
David Scott
Astronaut David R. Scott landed on the moon on July 30, 1971 with James Irwin.
James Irwin
Astronaut James B. Irwin, left, lunar module pilot of the Apollo 15 lunar landing mission, goes through suiting up operations in the Kennedy Space Center's Manned Spacecraft Operations Building during the Apollo 15 prelaunch countdown. The Apollo 15 space vehicle was launched at 9:34:00:79 a.m. (EDT), July 26, 1971.
Harrison "Jack" Schmitt
Apollo 17 Lunar Module Pilot Harrison H. Schmitt shares a moment of relaxation with astronaut Alan Shepard during prelaunch suiting operations. Schmitt explored the Moon's Taurus-Littrow region with Mission Commander Eugene A. Cernan during NASA's sixth and last manned lunar landing mission.
Eugene Cernan
Astronaut Eugene A. Cernan, pilot of the Gemini 9A mission, is photographed inside the spacecraft by the command pilot, astronaut Thomas P. Stafford during flight. Apollo 17's visit to the moon in December 1972 was the last manned mission to the moon. Cernan was last man to walk on the moon.
