Desert Trip Festival
The 2016 Desert Trip festival, held over two weekends at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, Calif., marks what will likely become the highest-grossing music festival of all time. Six acts that form rock’s canon - The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, The Who, Bob Dylan and Neil Young - are being brought together for the first time, in a festival that’s been nicknamed “Oldchella.”
