Deadly storm hits Virginia campground
A fallen tree lies on top of a recreational vehicle at Cherrystone Family Camping & RV Resort in rural Northampton County, on Virginia’s eastern shore, Thursday, July 24, 2014, after a severe storm swept through the area. The storm flipped recreational vehicles at the campground, toppled trees and produced large hail, killing at least two people and injuring more than 20, according to officials. The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for the area that expired at 9 a.m. on Thursday.
