Beau Biden 1969-2015
Joseph R. Biden III, 46, the former attorney general of Delaware and the eldest son of Vice President Joe Biden, died on Saturday May 30, 2015 after losing his battle with brain cancer in Washington, D.C.

Beau Biden was a captain in the Army National Guard at the time. Beau joined the National Guard in 2003, serving in the 261st Signal Brigade. He was sent to Iraq in October 2008 and was stationed there for one year.
