Auctioning space history
"We came in peace for all mankind," Apollo 11, July 20, 1969.
The Apollo Program's most iconic image, taken by Neil Armstrong: Buzz Aldrin standing on the Moon. Inscribed with the date of the first lunar landing and first step onto the lunar surface.
The photo is included in a Bonhams auction of hundreds of artifacts from the first few decades of international space exploration. The auction takes place on April 8, 2014.
