Worker Braves 109 Mile-An-Hour Winds

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Temperatures in our area may be lower than the seasonal average but perhaps we shouldn't complain.
Some New England states are still dealing with snow and wind!
On Monday a worker at the Mount Washington Observatory in New Hampshire went outside to experience the 109 mile-an-hour winds from atop the highest peak in the northeast.
He was nearly blown away!
The observatory takes hourly weather observations and despite the "crazy" weather, they remain committed to maintaining one of North America's longest continuous climate records. They're just hoping the snow and high winds are at least gone in time for their annual hiking fundraiser--in July.
