Woman Struck And Injured By New Jersey Transit Bus
LAKEWOOD, N.J. (AP) -- Authorities say a woman suffered serious leg injuries when she was struck by a New Jersey Transit bus.
The accident occurred Saturday, as the 68-year-old woman was trying to cross a road in Lakewood. She was flown to a trauma center, and further details on her condition have not been disclosed.
The woman's name was not disclosed.
No other injuries were reported in the accident, and no charges have been filed.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by Lakewood police and Ocean County authorities.
