Woman Shot In Head In South Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are investigating after a 19-year-old woman was shot in the head Friday night.
Eyewitness News on the scene at 15th and Ritner Streets in South Philadelphia.
Sources tell CBS 3 a tow truck driver passing by told police he saw the injured woman and brought her to Methodist Hospital.
According to sources, he says he called police on the way and was met there by officers.
The victim was transferred to Jefferson University Hospital where she is listed in extremely critical condition.
Further details were not immediately available.
The shooting remains under investigation.
