Woman Injured In Strip Club Shooting In South Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A woman was injured in a shooting overnight at a gentlemen's club in South Philadelphia.

It happened around 4 a.m. Sunday at Club Onyx along the 2900 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard.

Police say the incident started as a fight between a group a patrons at the club. Authorities say a man walked in through the front door, took out a gun and fired one shot, striking the glass on one of the doors. The bullet caused the glass to shatter and police say a 26-year-old woman suffered cuts on her left shoulder and left calf.

She was taken to Jefferson Hospital in stable condition.

Police were searching for the gunman.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police.
