Woman Gets Permission To Serve Divorce Papers Via Facebook
NEW YORK, NY (CBS) – A woman is taking Facebook un-friending to a whole new level.
She's obtained a New York judge's permission to serve her husband divorce papers through a private Facebook message.
The woman's lawyer says she hasn't been able to serve the papers the good old fashioned way because the man has no fixed address or place of employment.
The man has three weeks to respond or the judge will grant the divorce by default.
