Woman Fakes Heart Attack, Then Takes $60 From Good Samaritan

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., (CBS) -- A Good Samaritan might think twice about helping someone on the side of the road, after what happened to him in Mount Laurel.
A Moorestown man saw a woman stopped along Route 38, clutching her chest. He offered to help and she said she was having a heart attack.
"He said please have a seat inside his car…he would call for medical attention to respond out to where they were. When he went to look for his cell phone, she then all of a sudden said that she was fine and she exited his vehicle," says Mount Laurel Police Lieutenant Judy Lynn Schiavone.
The man discovered a little later that the woman took $60 dollars out of his car. Police have little to go on, save for a scant description of the alleged thief -- a thin, white woman about 55-years-old.
Lt. Schiavone says she hasn't heard of a robbery pulled off in this fashion before and nothing since this incident a week ago.
