PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A woman accused of abandoning her quadriplegic son in the woods for four days is now behind bars in Philadelphia and will face attempted murder charges.

Nyia Parler waived extradition in Montgomery County, Maryland.

He remains in the hospital.
