PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The end is near as dry air is set to push in across the area from northwest to southeast overnight. Heavy snow to continue to impact parts of the area for the next few hours but falling snow will taper off in Center City Philadelphia as midnight nears.

Travel conditions to remain treacherous overnight as gusty winds to 40 mph will yield blowing and drifting snow and thus greatly reduced visibilities. Additionally, temperatures in the 20's will create icy conditions.
