West Philadelphia Shooting Leaves Man Dead, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An 18-year-old man was shot twice and killed on Thursday afternoon in West Philadelphia, police say. The shooting happened just after 3 p.m. on the 5500 block of Race Street.
Police say he was shot in his stomach and chest. He was transported to Presbyterian Hospital and pronounced dead at 3:17 p.m., according to officials.
No arrests have been made and no weapon was recovered in connection to the shooting.
