Weather: Freeze Warnings And Frost Advisories Posted For Second Night In A Row Across The Delaware Valley
By Steven Strouss
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Freeze Warnings and Frost Advisories have been posted for a second night in a row all across the Delaware Valley. Temperatures will plummet to near record lows again and you'll definitely need the jacket as you step out tonight or early Saturday morning. Usually, lows are in the upper 40s this time of year but tonight we are forecasting lows in the upper 20s and low 30s so you'll want to protect your sensitive plants and vegetation.
Temperatures will rebound to near 60 degrees Saturday afternoon but that is still below the average high of 67. A storm system will pass by to our South Sunday morning and this could bring a shower to parts of southern Delaware and Southern New Jersey. Later Sunday, sunshine will return and it will be breezy with a high in the low 60s.
At the shore this weekend temperatures will stay cool. Sky conditions will be partly sunny on Saturday with a high of 56 and a morning shower is possible on Sunday with a high of 58.
Memorial Day is a month away and by that time the average high temperature will be 76 degrees!
