WEATHER BLOG: Pleasant Father's Day

By Justin Drabick

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Another pleasant air mass has settled into the Delaware Valley for the weekend, keeping the streak of nice weekends going.

After this past weeks tropical air mass, a cooler and dry Canadian air mass moved in, as the winds shifted to the northwest.  High temperatures were below average Saturday in the mid 70s, 82, is the average high temperature for the day.

The quiet and comfortable weather will continue for Father's Day, making it a great day to spend outdoors.  After cool morning temperatures in the 50s, afternoon highs will rebound back to near average in the lower 80s.  A high pressure system will continue to keep skies mostly sunny with humidity remaining on the low side.

If you want hot & humid weather, just wait a few days as it makes a return to the forecast.
