Weather: A (Relatively) Warm And Rainy Day
By Geoff Bansen
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After a scintillating day to kick-off the work week, Tuesday won't be quite as nice. Clouds are moving in ahead of a rain storm that will be impacting the Delaware Valley today. But with temperatures above 50° expected once again, who's complaining???
Anyone?
I didn't think so!
Showers will approach during the early afternoon and should be by the evening commute. Rain will be steady at times overnight before ending well after midnight. Icy patches which were a concern this morning due to melting snow will be less so overnight tonight; lows are not expected to drop below zero in most places. However, a few outlying suburbs could, and so drivers should use caution on any wet roadways.
As we move ahead to tomorrow, even the biggest of nitpickers will have trouble doing so for Wednesday's forecast. The sun returns and temperatures soar to 60! This is less than a week after much of the region was stuck in single digits last Friday morning.
The remainder of the week stays seasonable and dry, except for Saturday, which looks to be a wet one.
