WEATHER: A Pleasant Next Two Days
By Geoff Bansen
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- High pressure is building in for the next couple of days, and Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be winners!
Although a little breezy today, the weather will be pleasant. Sunshine and just a few clouds, with highs approaching 70° -- as it should be this time of year!.
Keep in mind that because of low relative humidity and the aforementioned breezy conditions, the risk for wildfires will be elevated. Grillers, please use caution!
Wednesday will be an absolute gem, with sunshine and temperatures in the low 70s.
Unfortunately, two lovely days will then be replaced with two not-so-nice days on Thursday and Friday. A storm system will slide to our south and then redevelop off the coast, bringing clouds and showers to the Delaware Valley. Rain amounts are still a large question mark, but it will be breezy and much cooler. Highs on Friday might not escape the 50s!
Right now the weekend is looking good, and features a warm-up that could take us to the 80s by next week.
