Warehouse fire in Wissinoming, Northeast Philadelphia placed under control
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A three-alarm warehouse fire in Wissinoming was placed under control, fire officials said.
The fire was placed under control at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
Firefighters were called to the scene shortly before 3 p.m. in the 2200 block of Fraley Street.
Officials said there were no injuries.
The Philadelphia Health Department said zero toxic compounds were found after the blaze.
SEPTA and Amtrak said there were no disruptions due to the fire.
It's unclear how the fire started.
The fire comes after smoke from the raging Tantallon wildfire burning in Nova Scotia, Canada, as well as another in New Jersey, led to an air quality alert in the region.
