Villanova's Championship Squad To Be Honored By President Obama

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's one of the coolest tradition in American sports: win the championship, meet the President.

On Tuesday, May 31st, the 2016 NCAA Champion Villanova University Men's Basketball team will be honored by President Obama at the White House. The ceremony will take place at 4:10 p.m. eastern time.

Villanova beat North Carolina in April thanks to Kris Jenkins' buzzer-beating three-pointer, arguably the greatest ending in college basketball history.

Jenkins and Josh Hart, Nova's top-two scorers, have both decided to return to the Wildcats for the 2016-17 season and defend their title.
