Villanova's Hilliard And Arcidiacono Earn First Team All-Big East Honors

NEW YORK (AP) — Villanova's Darrun Hilliard and Providence teammates LaDontae Henton and Kris Dunn were all unanimous picks to the All-Big East team.

Kellen Dunham of Butler, D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera of Georgetown, D'Angelo Harrison of St. John's and Ryan Arcidiacono of Villanova rounded out the seven-man first team announced Sunday.

The team was selected by the league's coaches.

Hilliard led the fourth-ranked Wildcats, Big East regular-season champions two straight seasons, in scoring at 14.2 per game. Henton was the league's top scorer at 20.1 and Dunn was the first player to ever lead the Big East in assists (7.7) and steals (2.8).

The second team was Sir'Dominic Pointer of St. John's, Xavier's Matt Stainbrook, Marquette's Matt Carlino, Sterling Gibbs of Seton Hall and Roosevelt Jones of Butler.

The conference's major individual awards will be announced Wednesday.
