Victim In Critical Condition Following Strawberry Mansion Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting on the 2600 block of North 25th Street in the cities Strawberry Mansion section.
The 52-year-old victim was found lying on the sidewalk around 12:25 a.m. Friday morning. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital and placed in critical condition.
Authorities say the motive was ether a robbery or a dice game gone wrong. Dice were found on scene, as well as inside a nearby vehicle. Police say they were both the same color, which they say indicates a connection between the vehicle and the victim.
No suspect at this time, people were on scene when police arrived, but police say witnesses are being uncooperative.
An investigation is ongoing.
