Vandals Strike Vehicles On PA Turnpike From Above With Bricks And Stones

LEVITTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Vehicles were damaged on the Pennsylvania Turnpike by bricks and debris, thrown from the overpass, on Thursday night.

Projectiles crashed through the windshields of several tractor trailers in Levittown, Bucks County.

Authorities say at least one person was injured. It was a close call for a couple of other big rig drivers.

"All I seen was hands and a bunch of rocks. They just like threw them over and they were just like coming at me like it was raining rocks," said truck driver Torrance Bonner. "I just had to hold onto the steering wheel as I drove."

So far police have not made any arrests.
