Vampire Diaries Star Engaged

New Year's Eve rings in more than just 2014 for Olga Fonda---and the 31 year old Vampire Diaries actress has a ring to prove it!

Liam Waite, Fonda's boyfriend of 2 ½ years, popped the question just before midnight on New Year's at the site of the couple's first kiss.

Olga Fonda flashed her new ring (which Liam Waite designed himself) at the People's Choice Awards, where she first shared the news.

Proposing on New Year's Eve is a very bold move, but Fonda said "it was very romantic."

Congratulations to the newly engaged couple. We hope their love is immortal.
