Upper Darby Cop Arrested And Charged With DUI
UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) – A 19-year-veteran of the Upper Darby Police Department has been arrested and charged with DUI and other related offenses.
Forty-three-year-old William Tobin allegedly left the scene of an accident Tuesday night. He is accused of hitting a car along West Chester Pike In Marple Newtown Township.
The driver of the vehicle that was hit chased him down and called police.
Upper Darby Police confirm the officer's employment, but say he has been out due to an injury on duty.
Marple Newtown Township authorities are handling the investigation.
