Mixed Reaction On Twitter To Matt Rhule Leaving Temple
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Matt Rhule shocked Philadelphia, as Baylor University announced Rhule as their new head coach on Tuesday afternoon.
Plenty of folks took to Twitter, nationally and locally, to voice their displeasure, gratitude, or something in between for Rhule's decision to leave Temple for Baylor.
It will be hard for @Temple_FB to replace a HC as good as Matt Ruhle. Good luck at Baylor Matt. @SportsRadioWIP @FOX29philly

Shocked that people are shocked that Matt Rhule is leaving. Nothing against Temple football, but it was inevitable.

Congrats to @CoachMattRhule! Four years ago he said he would bring @Temple_FB a championship and he did just that on Saturday. #goodluck https://t.co/xvM3IIxXF6

Really good hire by Baylor. Could easily be an NFL head coach in a few years. https://t.co/A5Hdo1bazy

Re: Matt Rhule ... Give Temple credit. They don't have too much pride to be a steppingstone and it's transformed their football program.
