TV Show Creator Speaks To Students At Drexel University

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A major Hollywood TV show creator made a stop in Philadelphia.
Over the last decade few TV shows have gained a cult following as large as the sitcom "Arrested Development."
On Tuesday night, an auditorium full of students at Drexel University got an inside look on how the show developed.
"I was very worried about this because the script had finally worked and everything came together," the show's creator Mitch Hurwitz said.
Hurwitz says even after developing "The Ellen Show" and working on "The Golden Girls", he worried about this show getting picked up.
"I still make decisions about work opportunities that are based on a lot more than what it is creatively. I mean you have to, to a certain extent," Hurwitz said.
Arrested Development ran on FOX for three years.
The fourth season premiered on Netflix.
