The Philadelphia Fire Department arrived, followed by PECO crews cordoning of the area and turning off the power of the snapped lines.
"I was happy that was got a parking spot right in front of the house," said Tom Rosenthal, who owns the crushed car.
Rosenthal recently paid off his vehicle.
"I'm sitting down there, and I hear all these loud noises, and I look out the window and I see blue sparks flying and next thing I know I come up here and I see all this," he said.
No one was hurt despite the damage.
