Train Derailment Still Affecting Mass Transit

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Amtrak service is still impacted because of Tuesday's train derailment.

Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New York remains suspended indefinitely. Officials say that trains will run between the nation's capital and Philadelphia and Harrisburg and Philadelphia on a modified schedule.

If you are traveling the Atlantic City Rail Line, they are shuttle busing between Cherry Hill and 30th Street Station. Also, the Trenton Line has been suspended in regard to regional rail (READ: Alternate Service Plan).

Meantime, the West Trenton Line has added some additional trains due to increased volume. The same thing goes if you're traveling the Market-Frankford Line. Due to increased volume, they are now making all stops.

NJT says they are still cross-honoring Amtrak and SEPTA tickets on all Southern Division buses and the River Line, in addition to honoring Amtrak tickets between Trenton and New York City.
