Cleanup Continues After Tractor Trailer Carrying Kiwis Overturns On I-676 Ramp In Old City

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Cleanup continues Thursday morning after a tractor-trailer carrying produce overturned on the I-676 ramp in Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood.

The accident was reported Wednesday night at the I-676 westbound ramp near the base of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.

Fire officials tell CBS 3 Eyewitness News one person has been taken to Hahnemann University Hospital with minor injuries.

It does not appear any other vehicles were involved.

The Delaware River Port Authority says three lanes of traffic were being diverted off at 5th Street. At 9 a.m. Thursday, all traffic coming into Philadelphia on the Ben Franklin Bridge was forced off on 5th Street so crews could upright the tractor-trailer.
