PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Pennsylvania-based health system Tower Health is cutting 1,000 jobs due to the financial impact of COVID-19. As part of the cuts, Pottstown Hospital's maternity unit will close.
Officials say the government-mandated closures caused a 40% drop in its revenue while expenses for COVID-related needs increased.
